The actual cost of effective chemical protection is in fact savings: from more efficient heat transfer, eliminating production down time, and eliminating pitting attack / loss of system metallurgies, heat exchangers, production machines, and system piping. By eliminating loss of electrons, we eliminate pitting attack, the greatest cause of system / equipment loss.

We utilize test pipe sections (a more effective measure of corrosion protection than just coupons). Below are carbon steel, copper, and aluminum pipe test sections with excellent protection:

Corrosion Control
  • Corrosion = Loss of Electrons from metal, the exact opposite of making metal from ore.
  • To make metal, oxygen is driven off, and electrons are infused into the metallic ore.
